The Namibia Paralegal Association The Namibia Paralegal Association was set up as an association of community based paralegals in 2002. These paralegals had recently concluded their training as part of a project aimed at providing access to justice to disadvantaged people living in rural areas of Namibia. There are unfortunate issues related to human rights violations in our country which range from cases of discrimination on the basis of being HIV positive to issues related to gender and inheritance, and the NPA was born as a reaction to this. This work has remained our main focus over the years and we now call it our Justice Outreach work. Should you wish to find out more about the work we do and the issues that we face in Namibia, please do not hesitate to contact Mr. Victor Mutumbulwa the national coordinator of the NPA via info@namibiaparalegals.org for more information.
