Paralegal Practical Skills Course
Who is this Course for?
Law students or graduates benefit because the paralegal course provides practical paralegal training to complement your academic training

Career Change? This course is ideal for someone wanting to learn the essential practical skills a paralegal requires to work in a law firm
No previous qualification or experience is necessary to attend. Attendees must have a good command of written and spoken English.e.g. ESOL Level 2, GCSE English. You will be required to take comprehensive notes as part of your training.
Level 4 Diploma in Paralegal Studies
One of the following is required:
Two GCSE's at Grade B or above;
Four GCSE's at Grade C or D;
A Level Law;
BTEC 1st Diploma (NVQ/GNVQ Level 2 or above);
ILEX Level 2 or Level 3 Qualifications;
ILSPAs Legal Secretary Diploma;
Mature Student (A signed declaration will be required)
Other equivalent course (Please specify)
A good command of written and spoken English is required. e.g. ESOL Level 2, GCSE English.
On gaining the qualification you will be eligible to apply for Associate Membership of The Association.This will distinguish you as being a qualified paralegal. NB: Students who take single subjects of either module are only enititled to Affiliate membership.
Post Graduate Diploma in Paralegal Practice
One of the following is required:
LL.B. (Hons);
BA LAW;
CPE/GDL
Law Degree based on Common Law (Overseas students please note, your degree needs to include The English Legal System. If not, you do have the option of studying the relevant General Principals of Law subjects before commencing this course)
A good command of written and spoken English is required. e.g. ESOL Level 2, GCSE English.
One of the following is required:
Diploma in Paralegals Studies; Post Graduate Diploma in Paralegal Practice; ILEX Level 6
Law Degree based on Common Law (overseas students please note, your degree needs to include The English Legal System)
Other Equivalent Course ( please specify)
